A friend of mine came back from holiday in pain. She had hardly moved properly for about 18 months, even light walking was difficult. She was told she might have a urinary infection, or accidentally over-dosed on her pain-killers, or imagining the pain she was in. When an ambulance was called, she had to wait seven hours…turns out she has a broken hip and has had it for months. The NHS is so understaffed and so much under pressure that she didn’t get the treatment she should have had months ago.
By the way, isn’t the election getting interesting? I predict there will be a ‘Zinoviev Letter’ moment the week before the election. What will it be? Corbyn eating all the first born? Corbyn reducing all the rich to poverty? The ruling class really do fear that Labour is going to tax them; they are all threatening to leave the country! Hooray, I’ll even wave the b******s off!
