Labour’s ‘Action Plan’ for anti-Semitism

By a regular reader

The Labour Party has published its ‘Action Plan’ to deal with anti-Semitism in the Labour Party. There are numerous references to working with “Jewish stakeholders” and one of its targets is to “identify key stakeholders.”

However, it looks like the Labour leadership has already determined who the “key stakeholders” will be, because one of its aims is to develop “appropriate antisemitism training for all staff” and to do this, they will engage “with Jewish community stakeholders, especially Jewish Labour Movement (JLM), in the establishment and development of such training.”

Note that you don’t have to be Jewish OR Labour to join the JLM and that organisation refused to support Labour in the last election. We doubt that David Evans will be getting in touch with Jewish Voice for Labour, whose members are ALL Jewish AND Labour, because they are for Evans the wrong kind of Jews.

This Action Plan was published on December 17th. The question is, was it put to the NEC on that day, and if so, what did NEC members say about it?
